Introductions

College. It's necessary to ensure a comfortable lifestyle. College. The place that prepares you for the real world. College. The reason that you forgo sleep, food, and (occasionally) fun on the promise that "it's all worth it." Well, ladies and gentleman, I'm here to tell you that it's all bullshit. There, I said it. It's all BULLSHIT. However, I'm getting ahead of myself.

To begin I'll share a bit about myself. I'm a 22 year old female that graduated from college a few months ago. I've heard "be patient," "stay positive," "things will get better" since I blindly succumbed to the finish line called graduation. Ever since that day I've faced challenges and emotional pains that no one really tells you about. This blog is mainly to voice my utter frustration of "Life After Graduation."

I have had the privilege of meeting some of the smartest, most sociable and determined individuals at my university; yet many of them can't even get hired at McDonald's! Now to be honest looking back at things I'm not sure if my friends and I did college right. I'm not oblivious to the fact that the job market sucks ass but somehow everyone made it seem like having a degree would make it better. Eh, still waiting. Anywho, this is more of a cathartic release for me but I know that more people are out there that are pissed that "Life After Graduation" isn't what everyone made it seem. If you happened to stumble across this page share and add your own annoyance.

Laters!

Sincerely, S.
